WE ARE VERY EXCITED TO BE ENTERING OUR 10TH YEAR AS AN ORGANIZATION

The Valley Forge Patriots began as a group of players who had a passion for the game and a desire for more competitive play that drove them to play in travel softball tournaments. 

In 2005, Brian Chidester and Cal Cizick coached the founding 12U team.

In 2006, the group split into two teams: Red and White.  The red team played a more aggressive/competitive schedule.  The white team focused on a few travel tournaments and also continued to play in the Devon Stratford Little League all the while improving upon their softball skills.

In 2008, Mike Lorine and Kevin Conaway brought a new group of young players to the Patriots to form a new 12U team.

In 2009, growth continued.  Bob Browne joined the Patriots to coach a team of

14U players.  The 12U expanded to two teams and the original players moved to 16U with Dan Santelli and Brian Chidester coaching.  

In 2010, for the first time, Patriots fielded teams at four levels of competition: 18U, 16U, 14U and 12U.

For the 2011 season, many of the 18U players from the 2010 season have moved onto college and we wish them many successes.  We are excited to be fielding four teams once again. This season, we will proudly take the field with a 16U team, two 14U teams, and a 12U team.
