The Philadelphia Spirit Fast Pitch Softball, a non-profit organization, has been in existence since 1991. Our long history of an established softball program has a foundation built by commitment and dedication of volunteers serving the youth of our communities. The Spirit is one of only a few organizations representing our area's female athletes through tournament fast pitch softball and is guided by the rules and regulations of the ASA - Amateur Softball Association, NSA - National Softball Association and PONY - Protect Our Nation's Youth. The goal of the Philadelphia Spirit is to continue to give each young women the opportunity to play the best fast pitch softball available and to emphasize that education and sports can work together. It takes commitment and team work, on and off the field, by coaches, parents and the players to get the job done!



Philadelphia Spirit Organization prides itself on training players year round in the following aspects of the game: offense, defense, speed, mental toughness, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly the values of academics.

Philadelphia Spirit Gold program was built in 2011 by Christina Gibson has a rich tradition of placing student athletes in universities and colleges of their choice.
Teams moto is "HARD WORK PAYS OFF"

In the 2011 season the Phila Spirit Gold program sent 3 student athletes to universities of their choice, slowly learning the ropes of the recruiting process and showcase circuit.

2012 season graduated 13 seniors that competed and fought a high level. It was the class of 2012 through their dedication and drive that paved the way for future Spirit teams to Showcase on main complexes and against the toughest competition. 2012 was the first season the Phila Spirit Gold ran a successful showcase event.

2013 season graduated 4 seniors again to schools of their choice. It was 2013 showed leadership and competed nationally at the ASA Gold level and also in Showcases in Florida and Colorado. The 2013 class placed 3rd in the Sparkler event in Boulder, CO . Phila Spirit Gold also teams up with Bluechip softball and officially becomes partners in running a fall and summer showcase event.

2014 graduated 7 seniors again all going to schools of their choice. The class of 2014 won the Region 3 Gold Qualifier in LaPlata, MD receiving a prestigious bid to ASA GOLD NATIONALS IN OKLAHOMA.
